St. Clair Square
The only super-regional mall in Southwest Illinois. This family-oriented shopping center houses over 140 specialty stores and four department stores including JCPenney, Dillard's, Famous-Barr, and Sears. With its great selection of stores and the Square Meal Food Court, St. Clair Square is truly a total shopping experience.

Regional Areas:

Belleville
The picturesque community of Belleville was founded by Frenchman George Blair in 1814 and was incorporated as a village in 1819. In 1914, it became the county seat of St. Clair County, replacing the Mississippi riverbank trading post of Cahokia that had been founded by the French explorer Marquette in 1790. Residents and visitors enjoy year-round activities with festivals, bicycling along the Greenway Trail, sports at the Family Sportsplex, and events at the Belle Clair Fairgrounds. Shopping malls, unique specialty shops and antique stores are conveniently located in the downtown area and adjacent neighborhoods. Numerous cafes and gourmet dining opportunities are popular locations for business lunches and family occasions.

Lebanon
In the late 1890's, Lebanon was known as a resort town with wealthy families from St. Louis building summer homes or staying in the hotels. Today, the historic town still remains as an electric community with cultural events, the Looking Glass Playhouse, Locust Hills, an 18-hole golf course, and bed & breakfast accommodations at two Victorian homes on Fourth Street. Shoppers from neighboring communities often spend weekends browsing through more than 20 specialty, antique, gift and craft shops along St. Louis Street or dining at one of the many restaurants.
